What is “Paradigm Shift?” To alter one’s perspective, mindset, and belief system.
This website addresses three different divisions which are tied together by behavior. Behavior can be altered by the way we think or our perspective. We intend to focus on rehabilitation, life skills, and personal development. There are very serious issues and challenges that need to be addressed. We have created a system known as One Stop, which will direct our clients through a specific program comprised of (3) Phases:
1. DISABLED AND HOMELESS VETERANS
Both men and women volunteer to serve in the armed forces to protect the American way. They risk their lives to sustain our freedom. Unfortunately, a significant number of veterans return physically and/or mentally broken. A large amount are homeless, mentally challenged and hungry.
2. DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
Domestic violence is on the rise in America, especially in these challenging economic times. People argue over money more than anything.Sexual abuse has double in the last decade from children to the elderly. We help remove victims from a very uncomfortable and violent atmosphere.
3. YOUNG ADULTS DISCHARGED
Young adults need a since of belonging, and sometimes choose gangs and the grit of the street to fill the void. Prostitution, sales of various drugs, and murder plagues our streets. The absence of a father figure or mentorship breeds a lack of discipline and self-esteem. A lack of options and negative associations pushes them toward the streets and disparity. Young men and women that have been released from the armed forces are trained for aggression, even to kill. If they are influenced by friends and family once returned home, it is easier to get involved with gangs.
We offer some solutions to these problems by addressing these front end (immediate) issues followed by a back end (longevity) solution of introducing a Paradigm Shift. Our targeted population is to assist in the process of rehabilitating for Disabled Veterans, Young Adults, Homelessness, Re-Entry Population, Domestic Violence, Employment and Education promoting a positive shift in behavior for safer communities.
In 1962, Thomas Kuhn wrote The Structure of Scientific Revolution, and fathered, defined and popularized the concept of “paradigm shift”. Kuhn argues that scientific advancement is not evolutionary, but rather is a “series of peaceful interludes punctuated by intellectually violent revolutions”, and in those revolutions “one conceptual world view is replaced by another”.
Think of a Paradigm Shift as a change from one way of thinking to another. It’s a revolution, a transformation, a sort of metamorphosis. It does not simply happen – but is driven by agents of change administered through trust.
Similarly, agents of change are driving a new paradigm shift today. The signs are all around us. For example, the introduction of the personal computer and the internet have impacted both personal and business environments, and is a catalyst for a Paradigm Shift. Newspaper publishing has been reshaped into Web sites, blogging, and web feeds. The Internet has enabled or accelerated the creation of new forms of human interactions through instant messaging, Internet forums, and social networking sites. We are shifting from a mechanistic, manufacturing, industrial society to an organic, service based, information centered society, and increases in technology will continue to impact us globally. Change is inevitable. It’s the only true constant. We introduce new ideas, places, such as the arts, music, reading new subject matter.
In conclusion, for millions of years we have been evolving and will continue to do so. Change is difficult. Human Beings resist change; however, the process was set in motion long ago and we will continue to co-create our own experience. We help people stretch themselves, step outside the box. Thomas Kuhn states that “awareness is prerequisite to all acceptable changes of theory”. It all begins in the mind of the person. The mind is the most powerful tool in the known universe. What we perceive, whether normal or metanormal, conscious or unconscious, are subject to the limitations and distortions produced by our inherited and socially conditional nature. However, we are not restricted by this because we can evolve, grow and change. We are moving at an accelerated rate of speed and our state of consciousness is transforming and transcending. The question is, what direction are moving towards a violent destructive future or creative harmonic future. Many are awaken as our conscious awareness expands.

Feelings are energy. They are either positive or negative. We have the freedom of choice to change our feelings at anytime and become deliberate creators. No one can take that freedom of choice away from us. It is guaranteed! How we use it and what we make of it is up to us.
The process of creations begins with a single thought. Albert Einstein said, “There is no doubt that a single creative thought has the power to change the world.” Theologians, scientist, physicist and physicians are coming to believe in the Law of Attraction.
The awareness of the Law of Attraction is part of the New Paradigm Shift. As our awareness increases we are able to make new changes. It’s a simple process that is foreign to us:
- First, identify what you don’t want.
- Second, identify what you do what.
- Third, feel what you want and allow it to happen.
Abraham Hicks tells us that we are, “here to experience the dramatic dynamic intense value of contrast to come to a decision”. Listen to your feelings. Feelings are the language of the soul.
